Instructions for very impatient users
=====================================

To use RMENU you need:

- a computer with an ethernet card running (MS-)DOS.
    (NOT a DOS-box in Windows!)

- a packet driver for that card, which must be loaded
    before RMENU is started.

- a WATTCP.CFG config file, unless you have a DHCP server.

Once you've got all this, do the following:

- unpack all the files from the zip-archive into a common
directory, preferably one of its own.

- if you have a WATTCP.CFG file, copy it into that directory
or make shure, that the WATTCP.CFG environment variable
points to the directory where this file already is.

- enter RMENU to start the server program

Once RMENU is up and running:

- go to another computer (connected to the same network!)

- start a TELNET client

- connect to the ip-address RMENU showed you at start-up

Now you are ready to play around. Note however, that the
menu configuration file (RMENU.MEN) that comes with this
archive just serves to demonstrate some of RMENUs capabilities.

In order to do something really usefull, it is inevitable
to read the "fucking" manual (RMENU.DOC) and set-up the
menu configuration file (RMENU.MEN) according to your
individual needs.
